Project Specialist, CULTURATI project

We are now looking for

Project Specialist

for CULTURATI – Customized Games and Routes for Cultural Heritage and Arts project. Preferably, your work in the project would start already in (late) August or September 2024, and last until December 2025. Most of the work takes place at the Haaga-Helia campus in Porvoo.

CULTURATI is an innovative project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon program. Its mission is to preserve and promote cultural heritage and arts through a global content platform where CCIs, creative professionals, and citizens collaboratively create content related to cultural heritage and arts across Europe. It delivers this content to end-users (consumers of cultural heritage and arts) through customized games (Q&A) and routes.

Description:
As a project specialist for the CULTURATI project, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple tasks aimed at the successful implementation of a national network and facilitating content creation and data collection initiatives related to the City of Porvoo in general, and the Old Porvoo in specific. Your role will be pivotal in driving engagement, facilitating training, and ensuring efficient data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Forming and coordinating a national network for CULTURATI:

  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders and target groups within Porvoo City.
  • Forming a cohesive network of stakeholder to facilitate collaboration and content creation.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events to foster communication and collaboration among the national network members.
  • Act as a liaison between the national network and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

2. Conducting content creation trainings:

  • Run training sessions for users on content creation techniques and best practices.
  • Collect feedback from training participants to assess the effectiveness of the training programs.
  • Analyse feedback data and make recommendations for improvement to enhance future training sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop training materials and resources.

3. Content Creation:

  • Encourage CCIs and citizens to create content for CULTURATI and disseminate through various events  
  • Create content for the game system based on project requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Utilize various content creation tools and platforms to produce engaging content.
  • Adhere to project timelines and quality standards for content development.

4. Collecting Data:

  • Implement data collection, including questionnaires and interviews.
  • Coordinate data collection efforts, including scheduling interviews and administering questionnaires.
  • Compile and organize collected data and interview transcripts for analysis.

We require:

  • A relevant higher education degree.
  • Experience in research and development projects and experience in stakeholder engagement, content creation, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and networking, familiarity with content creation tools and platforms and ability to coordinate meetings and events effectively.
  • An independent, proactive, and solution-oriented work approach.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to inspire different stakeholders to collaborate.
  • Flexibility to operate in a constantly changing environment, diverse networks, and digital platforms.
  • Fluent skills in English and either Finnish or Swedish.
