Aino Eeronheimo

Ainonia

Aino Eeronheimo rejoices the diversity and the wonders of nature with the help of animal and fantasy characters. The classification of plants, animals and people becomes blurred in her work. She creates the sculptures by building them by hand, operating tranquilly, so that the innermost part of the character has time to be transferred into the visible world.

Passionate about learning new hand skills brings her joy and expands her range of means of expression. In addition to ceramics, bronze and wood are the new territory for her. Eeronheimo is a sculptor, ceramic artisan and visual arts teacher (TaM), graduated from the University of Lapland. After 18 years as a visual art teacher in Rovaniemi she founded her own company and has been a full-time artist ever since. Her studio is located in Roihupelto, Helsinki.
