Kultatuoli 2023, hand-tufted shapeable textile concept, New Zealand wool. Image module 57 x 57 cm.
The idea of the Golden chair is based on the äLLä concept I designed in 2001. The tufted mini textiles of the äLLä concept, which I designed in the early 2000s, will soon be available to everyone. The Reblok collection I renewed is a kind of mini textile game. Its pieces can be used to assemble a unique art textile in a small or large space. Reblok mini-textiles bring color and warmth, and insulate sound. The hand-tufted textile pieces are 100% New Zealand wool. Two generations of Mikkola women are behind the launch of the collection.
