I’m a fabric and textile product designer, weaver, wool enthusiast, hand knitting pattern designer & pattern technical editor.

For my own brand ELISA PENTTILÄ I design and craft a variety of woven textiles, namely accessories (bow ties) and interior textiles (throw blankets). In my own fabrics I use natural fibres and cellulose-based fibres (ie. tencel). Some of my products feature Finnish wool.

On commission I craft new textiles according to the client’s wishes and make bespoke variations of my existing products. I also do textile repairs.

Furthermore, I design hand knitting patterns (for hobbyist knitters) and do technical editing for hand knitting patterns, including editing text, verifying stitch counts, calculating stitch counts for different sizes and checking charts for errors.
