This Active Wool Sarka is made from recycled fabrics
and old scraps of knitwear, spun together with virgin fibres
using the traditional recycling techniques of Italy’s Prato Green district.

shorts, vest and accessories.

The earlier version, the original Mehto Pro set was presented at Anthology of Finnish Fashion exhibition at Designmuseo in Helsinki 5.6.-20.9.2015. The exhibition presented a selection of phenomena in the Finnish fashion industry from the 1950’s to the present.

This winter hard shell set is an upgraded version from the original Pole set. The name of 3POLES originates from the product evolution process; the base of the set has seen all the three poles in the world: South Pole, North Pole and the summit of the Mount Everest.

The Master of Arts Final Work | 2007
Kilpi concept collection for autumn/winter 2007/08 | Urban performance with multiple functions. The collection utilizes high performance and multiple functionality for everyday urban wear.
The study focused on several smart materials, such as PCM technology.
The collection was presented at following exhibition: Super City / Sanomatalo 31.8.-12.9.2007, Masters on the Road / Gallery NORSU 19.7.-11.8.2007, and MOA07 Masters of Art festival 9.-27.5.2007.

The first concept was a result of teamwork at the University of Art and Design Helsinki 2004-2005. The concept & co-design: Salonen, Strap, Pakarinen & Rundgren. The original concept ideal by Laura Pakarinen. The collection was CPH Vision Designers Nest Award nominee 10.-12.2.2005.

Attended with a team from the University of Art and Design Helsinki 2006. The winning collection October, co-design and co-creation by Levo, Pakarinen & Rundgren.

A collection of unique knits and accessories made from reindeer skins.
The vest in the picture is made from the venison industry waste, reindeer leg skins.
The collection was presented in PINNI, a professional hairdressers’ magazine 2003.
This artisan project was a flashback from my past bachelor’s degree studies in fashion design at Kuopio Academy of Design 1996.
