Emo 1, 2016, size 15x15x34cm
Named after the Finnish word “Emo” (/ˈe.mo/), meaning “Mother”, this collection of works interprets the many emotions and feelings that we as human beings go through.
With their fluttery skirts or blazing hairdos these sculptures all represent their own feeling: one of them happy and joyful, while the other is rushing in a hurry. Like in real life these emotions aren’t clearly labeled, but alter depending on the viewers rendition.
