Hannaliisa Johnson

Currently, I help Finnish start-ups, SMEs and growth companies to increase their export rate and grow internationally. My work focuses on Finnish companies that do global business and build the future of our society. I contribute to the green transition, market access for growth companies, for example, the current business needs of Finnish Deep Tech and Mittelstand companies, and supporting growth entrepreneurs with an immigrant background in order for their companies to take root in Finland.

In the creative sector, for example, I assess the abilities of entrepreneurs and companies applying for funding from the AVEK Audiovisual Promotion Centre. In general, I give recommendations to potential companies as they acquire funding.

Altogether, I’m an internationally experienced business and team leader with an entrepreneurial and diverse experience in the areas of software and business development, innovation, commercialization&internationalization services and design, including the disciplines of professional development and management training. For the past twenty and so years my jobs have taken place within national and international innovation and invest-in ecosystems, and the following industries: IT and software, built environment, smart cities, design, electronics, health technology, creative industries and media.
During my career, I’ve established two internationally operating companies and headed them as an entrepreneur. I started my professional journey as a designer working in the industrial and commercial sector. After that, multi-disciplinary business and, later, influencing the operating conditions and business environments of Finnish companies became the core of my professional activity.

I’m available for public speaking at events, seminars and interactive happenings, and as a moderator for panel discussions, as well as a facilitator for workshops. In addition, I do writing from time to time and can be asked to join co-publications.
