Irina Viippola

I’m a commercially oriented creative mind who’s been working with design and design management for over 20 years.  I have a MA in industrial design and at the moment I run my own design consultancy, Studio Viippola. I also work as a Professor of Practice in Design at the Aalto University.

My guiding design principles are to deeply understand user values, needs and desires, to ensure longevity of the created design solutions and materials used, and to utilize circular design methods to support creation of sustainable solutions.
