Are you passionate about harnessing the power of AI to solve real-world business challenges? At Basware, we are looking for an innovative AI Designer to be a key player in our strategic approach to AI, uniquely positioned where AI, design, and business converge.

As an AI Designer , you are a key contributor to Basware’s strategic approach to AI and uniquely positioned at the intersection of AI, Design, and Business. Your role is not just about discovering and designing AI solutions that address real business challenges, but also about bringing them to life. With a hands-on attitude and proficiency in AI tools, you will be a critical part in implementing these solutions with low-code / no-code applications, starting with our upcoming project around Microsoft Copilot. You will delve deep into understanding both the needs of the end-user and the internal processes, ensuring our AI solutions are tailored to meet these specific requirements.

Your role requires you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business processes, identify pain points, and assess opportunities for leveraging generative AI solutions. Looking ahead, we envision you working closely with our various enterprise functions, enabling them to realize value from different AI tools. This role is interdisciplinary by design, requiring a curious mind with a keen interest in AI.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading the Discovery and Design of AI Solutions: Spearhead the discovery and design of solutions to real business challenges using AI tools, with a focus on our upcoming project around Microsoft Copilot.
2. Understanding User and Business Needs: Delve into both end-user needs and internal processes to ensure our AI solutions are tailored to meet specific requirements.
3. Collaborating Across Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business processes, identify pain points, and assess opportunities for leveraging generative AI solutions.
4. Enabling Value Realization: Work with our various enterprise functions to help them realize value from AI tools.

Products and Cloud Engineering & Operations business function is responsible for ensuring that Basware continues to provide its customers with industry leading SaaS solutions to deliver true automation for the CFO’s office. As a global team, they create and execute the product strategy, new product innovations, roadmap, design, product development, and product launches for Basware’s global product portfolio. Together with other Baswareans, Products and Cloud Engineering & Operation ensures that our customers can successfully meet their business objectives through cooperating with Basware and using our product and service portfolio.

To succeed in this role, you need the following skills and qualifications:

• Ability to analyze business problems and needs.
• Employ design principles to create AI solutions that are intuitive and realize value.
• Experience with generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot. Experience in building custom GPTs or using Copilot Studio is highly appreciated.
• Solid grasp of the fundamentals of machine learning principles.
• Excellent ability to communicate and present complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for thinking creatively to devise custom solutions.
• Proven ability to manage projects effectively, balancing scope, time, cost, and quality.
• A self-starter attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take ownership.
• Portfolio showcasing previous AI-related work, publications, or projects is a plus.

The ideal candidate would have a background as a business analyst or product manager with technical capabilities and the ability to run design discovery workshops, coupled with a strong drive for AI.
