Danny Gee is seasoned professional with more than 30 years of extensive experience in the fashion industry in New York City, where he worked as a Designer and Creative Director for international brands. Years of traveling the world have introduced him to many different cultures and people, shaping his broad and unique view for design.
In 2022, seeking a more fulfilling and balanced lifestyle, he relocated to Salo, Finland with his family. In the beautiful Finnish countryside and forests, he has developed a strong appreciation for nature and its resources. This deep connection shows in his respect for wood’s origins and his wish to create something both beautiful and lasting from it.
Gee Design started in 2023 with a focus on creating lasting and valued pieces. Our goal is to make unique, high-quality designs that combine art and function. We are strongly committed to environmental responsibility by carefully using materials and repurposing waste. We continually test new finishing materials, prioritizing natural ingredients and working to minimize harmful substances.
Gee Design is a member of Suomalaisen Työn Liito (Association For Finnish Work). We are proud that our furniture has been awarded the Design from Finland brand, which speaks about professional, responsible and user-oriented design. In addition, our furniture has been awarded the Avainlippu (Key Flag Symbol) which It demonstrates that the product has been manufactured or the service has been produced in Finland, creating Finnish jobs.

Our modern TV Console is expertly crafted from sturdy elm wood, showcasing sleek and distinctive angles. The standout feature is the captivating boomerang-shaped legs that add a touch of artistry to any room. Complementing the contemporary frame is the live edge top, creating a harmonious fusion of style. The sleek cabinets with sliding doors not only enhance the minimalist look but also provide discreet storage for your electronic gadgets. The unit is thoughtfully designed with dedicated spaces for speakers and cord access covers, all customizable to ensure seamless integration with different home theater configurations.

Boomerang Lounger + Ottoman
Simultaneously classic and modern, the clean angles of this exquisite lounger command attention in every setting. Durable and sustainable hand-woven Danish paper cord artfully brings warmth and texture to any room, while the gently curved back and seat ensure an ideal recline that promotes unparalleled comfort and support. It takes 9 hours and approximately 400 meters of paper cord to weave one lounger. The traditional weaving on the front of the back rest and seat are contrasted with the linear clean texture on the back. This thoughtfully designed piece seamlessly integrates function and style, sitting higher than similar chairs, it allows one to more easily rise out of the seat.The Ottoman matches the Lounger’s design and fits neatly underneath when not in use. It’s also attractive enough to be used alone as a low stool.
