Drop stool is designed for Finnish furniture company Hakola. The stool is completely made out of surplus materials which also was the starting point for the whole design process.

The task was to design some custom made furniture for Outrun Cafe in Pasila (Helsinki) and to help the owners to complete their vision about a retro-futuristic cafe interior. In the daytime, the cafe has a fresh 80’s inspired look which changes into more dramatic synthwave atmosphere when the sun sets and Finnish darkness arrives.

Kaisla chair is designed for Junet, a Finnish furniture company who specialise in furnishing nursing homes and other public spaces. The aim was to create a homelike chair with detachable seat cushion upholstery that is easy to keep clean. The chair also needed to withstand very heavy use and to be absolutely safe for senior citizens. Those needs and qualities were the basis of Kaisla, a high quality chair for public spaces that draws inspiration from traditional Scandinavian design.

Usva armchair and sofa are designed for Finnish furniture company Junet who specialise in furnishing nursing homes, healthcare facilities and other public spaces. The dimensions and ergonomics of the furniture take specially into account the elderly and disabled people and is designed to be easily maintained.

The conference table Meet is originally designed for furniture retailer Vepsäläinen’s head office. This sturdy table is made of ash and hides two cable management boxes inside it’s pedestal structure.
