Each separate part of the Shimmer earrings is handcrafted. The bright surface of the yellow gold ring has been shaped with a hammer, which results in unique glimmering in each individual piece. Carefully selected stones are light grey tourmaline and bright diamond.Photo: Sebastian Johansson

I was looking for a good combination for the elements, trying to find the balance between soft shapes of glass and brass lines. Inspiration behind this is derived from the compositions in the paintings made by Miró. I let my background as a craftsman be shown as I think it gives more value and character for the final work, giving it a hint of honesty and a certain human element.I designed Loom in year 2020 an it was presented at Helsinki Design Week 2020Materials: Mouth blown glass, brass, cable, lamp bulb G4Glassblower: Orcum ErdemPhoto: Dennis Koi

Pendant light Minimal silhouette formed by glass and brass plays an integral part on the lamp. The surface of the brass reflects a warm glow when the light is on. With the combination of handcrafted parts and materials I wanted to create a calm arrangement that resembles jewelry.Glassblowers: Kaappo Lähdesmäki & Slate GrovePhoto: Anne Kinnunen
