Forest glow light represents the magical sunlight shining through the trees in an old forest. The light highlights the curly birch and shines through the gap of the two elements of each lamp and creates nice reflections. The lighting impresses the most arranged in groups of three or more lights for example in hotels or restaurants.The lights are part of the New Curly Birch collection and have been exhibited at the PROPUU Gallery Lahti and The Finnish Forest Museum Punkaharju.

Secrets of the Forest invites viewers to immerse themselves in a poetic interplay of light and shadow in the forest. The centerpiece of the work features half-cylinders crafted from birch veneer and birch bark, evoking the organic textures of a forest floor.Carved birds and mushrooms, symbolizing the delicate ecosystem of the forest. Mushrooms and berries growing, animals sheltering. Each carved element is meticulously shaped from pine, with surfaces burnt and brushed to highlight their textures. The installation is a harmonious blend of natural materials and craftsmanship, drawing attention to the hidden beauty and quiet secrets of the forest.Secrets of the Forest was showcased at the Craft Museum of Finland in Jyväskylä as part of an invitational exhibition, celebrating the intersection of traditional skills and contemporary art in the exhibition My Forest.

Valo & Varjo jewelry are small and light sculptures, that you can wear. Valo means light and varjo shadow. The jewelry is handmade of birch, curly birch, smoked oak and recycled silver. The arrangement of curved elements creates an interesting play of light and shadow. The wood is finished with natural oils.Valo & Varjo collection has been awarded with FORM 2018 design award by the German Association of Arts and Crafts.

Hikari Camera Obscura was born from the idea of offering an alternative to photography without a rush or a need to publish photos on social media. Hikari means light in Japanese. This wooden pinhole camera increases understanding how a camera works as its simplest. The Hikari pinhole camera is an unique piece that combines centuries old photograph technique with a soft and aesthetic design language. The camera can shoot on sheet film or photo paper.

The Birch Forest furniture collection was inspired by the beauty of birch bark. The natural patterns of birch bark are unique, each one different and beautiful in its own way. This furniture collection honors this natural material and represents it in a simple, modern style.Geometric shapes, primarily squares and cylinders, form the base of the design language. In this way, the birch bark is highlighted and becomes the main character in the furniture collection.To preserve the natural appearance of the birch bark, the surface is brushed gently and sealed with a natural oil and wax mixture. The birch wood and birch plywood surfaces are treated with white pigments and sealed with natural oil and wax, which enhances the wood’s grain and brings a fresh lightness to the surface.
